This Porch was Built AD 1917 To the Glory of God & in Loving Memory of Two Friends
William Gilbert Houldsworth Lieut   1st Batt Scots Guards Died 23rd Sept 1914 from wounds received at the Battle of The Aisne 13th Sept. The son of The Reverence William Thomas Houldsworth and of Eulalie his Wife Beloved Rest in Peace	Archibald Seymout Ross 2nd Lieut Queens Own Cameron Highlanders who fell at Richebourg L'Avoue 9th May 1915 aged 25 The Redeemed of the Lord Shall Return. They Shall Obtain Gladness & Joy - and Sorrow & Mourning Shall Flee Away
